What Israel is pursuing is its legitimate right of self-defense, a stance accepted by most western governments.

Hamas, a genocidal jihadi group, is openly vowing in English to carry out multiple October 7th events until they kill every man, woman, and child in the country.

The Israeli response is proportional to the threat posed by Hamas, which openly threatens to annihilate the Jewish people and the state of Israel.

When Hamas embeds itself within the civilian population, using them as human shields, it recklessly endangers them. The international community should direct outrage at Hamas inside Gaza, not at the army that has been doing everything it can – more than any army in the history of warfare – to get civilians out of harm's way.
